Why we built it
A migraine doesn't end when the headache does.
Every major incumbent in the migraine-tracker category, Migraine Buddy, N1-Headache, Migraine Insight, models migraine as a discrete event with a start and end timestamp. The data schema stops at "headache resolved." That works for episodic sufferers and stops working immediately for everyone else.
Bose and Goadsby's 2016 electronic-diary study found postdrome (the after-phase of fatigue, brain fog, residual photophobia, and mood disruption) in 81% of attacks, with a mean duration of 25.2 hours. The phase is named in ICHD-3, the international classification for headache disorders. It's clinically real and almost nowhere in consumer trackers.
